Macy is a composer who loves creating music from found sounds and using elements that are not always traditionally musical.  Her compositions integrate both orchestral and digital elements and have been included in film, video games, live theatre, concerts, and music libraries.  While she continues to compose concert works in which she strives to tell stories and portray personal ideas, she currently focuses on collaborative mixed media works.

Macy has recorded with ensembles, such as Ensemble Concept/21, Prague Symphony Orchestra, and members of Chicago Composer's Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Abeline Philharmonic Orchestra.

Macy's work experience includes working as a composer/metadata specialist at Who'z The Boss music library, created by Parker Lee Williams (The Oprah Show, The Rosie Show, Dr. Oz) and she has also done work as an intern for Emmy Award-winning Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, The Politician) and the Emmy Award-winning trio Dynamic Music Partners.

Macy Camille is an expert in Logic Pro X and Finale, has solid knowledge of Pro Tools, and is now learning Digital Performer.  She uses Ableton Live in doing live electronic performances.  She also has used Kontakt to create her own custom instruments and has a basic knowledge in FMOD, Wwise, and Unity.

In studying media scoring, Macy has had the pleasure of studying with composers, such as John Lunn (Downtown Abbey, The Invisible Walk), Garry Schyman (BioShock, Torn), Joe Kraemer (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher), Mark Snow (The X Files, Blue Bloods), Ceiri Torjussen (India Sweets and Spices), and Jonathan Thomas Miller (Life Below Zero).
